Zitong joined the group in 2024 as a Part II (Master's level) student, studying non-adiabatic dynamics and clustering. Apart from completing his studies in Oxford, he work on two summer internships with John McGrady (here in Oxford) on electronic structure for catalysis and Ioan-Bogdan Magdău (Newcastle University) on analysis of molecular dynamics.
Zitong grew up in Shanghai, moving to the UK to start his undergrad in 2021. Outside of work, Zitong loves eating Cantonese food and playing Tennis.
