Eirik's research centres on the new phenomenon of Coherent Mixed Scattering, where he currently working on how the strength of the effect is changed by the nature of the pulse.
Hailing from the region in Norway where skis were invented, Eirik received a Master's in Chemical Physics from the University of Edinburgh, where he completed a Master's thesis with the group on Coherent Mixed Scattering. He started his DPhil here in Oxford in October 2022, continuing his work on CMS alongside Mats.
