Visit to UK XFEL Launch Meeting
An XFEL on British soil?
The group recently made our way down to the Royal Society in London to attend the launch meeting for the UK XFEL project. The meeting planned and discussed ideas for a 'next-generation' light source to be built in the UK (which Adam was involved in writing the Science Case for), allowing all manner of new experiments to be performed - some of which we would hopefully participate in! Thanks to everyone involved for a wonderful day out, and we're looking forward to what comes next!
